Nope! Even though a majority of our client requests are for medical appointments, we are able to provide transportation for things like:

Why don't I just use a rideshare service/taxi for my transportation needs?

This is a great question that we are asked often! Simply put, our transportation specialists are vetted, highly trained individuals who specialize in assisting individuals who require transportation assistance.

Each and every Lifeline America employee has obtained their  CPR/First Aid Certification, HIPAA Compliance Training, Fraud Waste and NSC drive-safe training, Abuse Training, Bloodbourne Pathogens Training. We also go the extra mile to ensure you’re in good hands by performing yearly Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) reports and criminal background checks on all transportation specialists.

When utilizing rideshare services for your transportation needs, you never know who you’re getting in the vehicle with. There are no certification requirements enforced by these companies, and quality control measures aren’t typically used.

How far in advance do I need to request my ride?

To ensure our team is able to fulfill your request, we ask that you submit any ride request a minimum of 3-5 days before your scheduled appointment.

What are your hours of operation?

Daily from 8A to 8P. For service outside of normal business hours, please give us a call.

Can you bill my insurance?

Accepted Answer

All customers can request a receipt to submit to their insurance company for reimbursement. However, we do not bill insurance companies directly. If you have insurance coverage under Medicaid or Medicare, please contact your insurance company or case worker directly to request transportation.

Can other family members/caregivers ride along?

Absolutely, for a small fee based on the type of trip.
